Job Description

La Fiesta is a seasoned Tapas Bar with people travelling from Hull, Sheffield and even further afield to dine with us. We are looking for staff to join our team.

We are looking to appoint Front of House Team Members to work under our Restaurant Management Team to ensure that our customers have a positive experience with us from the moment they come through the door until the moment they leave. Front of House staff will play a pivotal role in the dining experience.

Previous experience is essential as we are looking for seasoned floor staff. Outgoing, customer/solution focussed attitudes are essential as is the ability to work as part of a team to bring the best possible dining experience for our customers.

Appointment is subject to receipt of appropriate references.

Duties

Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take and process customer orders accurately, demonstrating strong upselling skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in food preparation, adhering to food safety standards and culinary practices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen space, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent hospitality at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety standards is a plus. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are crucial. A passion for providing outstanding guest services and a willingness to help others is essential for success in this role.
