Florist (Full-time | Part-time)

Location:

Memento, Ormeau Road, Belfast

Hours:

24-40 hrs/week ( we are 7 day week operation and work on a fair rotation - must be flexible for all the big days we work when flowers do)

With our shiny new flagship store now open on the Ormeau and our wee sister Flower School is just about to his the scene and shake things up! Hence we're looking to grow our team. Literally.

The Role

We're not looking for someone to hide out in the back gluing bows on jam jars spending your day wiring gerbs! This is a front facing, full throttle florist role. You'll be part of the creative engine that makes Memento Memento, working the floor, designing to brief (and beyond), chatting to customers, hosting workshops, and making every bloom count.

You'll need to:

Design florals that turn heads and match the tone of the brand Work fast and clean, especially during peak madness Have something to say about flowers and not be afraid to say it Help customers feel seen, sorted, and inspired Hold your own during a workshop or group session Keep the shop looking tight, visually on point and stocked

Who We're Looking For

If you're a florist, you already know what the job involves.

This isn't training wheels floristry (but if that's what your after check our new flower school in 2026!) You'll need solid skills, good craic, and the kind of taste that gets why we don't use cheap blue statice or get excited about weddings with just gyp bouquets.

You've gotta bring:

Experience (actual floristry experience, not just a friends wedding flowers or a wee course) Confidence designing solo and as part of a team A good eye for colour, movement, and what makes things feel "Memento" A can do attitude, especially when the pressure's on Bonus points if you know your way around plants, events, and workshops
