Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented freelance Curtains and Blinds Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of various window treatments, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction or installation work, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow technical specifications.

Duties

Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and curtains, according to customer specifications and company standards. Measure and assess window dimensions to ensure proper fitting of treatments. Use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely during installations. Interpret schematics and installation instructions to complete projects accurately. Perform minor electrical work as required for motorised window treatments. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all job sites. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the installation process.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to installation tasks. Knowledge of electrical systems for basic wiring tasks associated with motorised treatments. Experience in carpentry, including skills in building and fitting tracks as needed. Ability to facilitate installations correctly to ensure functionality and aesthetics. Capability to read and interpret schematics and job sheets accurately for effective installation planning. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installations. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every project.
