Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any special requests or concerns.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Assist with basic food preparation as needed, following culinary guidelines.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes.
Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure prompt service.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
Familiarity with serving techniques and food safety practices is essential.
Experience in food preparation or culinary roles will be advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Excellent guest services skills, with the ability to create a positive dining experience for all patrons.
