We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will be responsible for preparing various fried dishes to meet our high standards of quality and taste, ensuring that every meal is served promptly and safely.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques, particularly frying methods.
Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on quality presentation.
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with meal preparation processes and food safety standards.
Experience in a restaurant environment is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
