The Company

TYG is a young and expanding company, with an increasing number of high-end clients across London. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic full time gardener who wants to become a Team Leader. A clean, full driving licence is essential for our mobile rounds to our clients throughout London. Three months probationary period. We like a can-do/will-do attitude! Based in Putney, London SW15

The Job

Are you passionate about creating, developing and maintaining beautiful, stylish and elegant outdoor spaces for our lovely clients? Have you got relevant experience? Can you easily get to SW London (sometimes we start early!)? Then that's a great start...

Reporting to the owner (George), you will expected to work a 40 hour week in a small team. We need knowledge and experience of all aspects of horticulture; planting, lawn care, pruning and trimming. (RHS level 2 is desirable)

You must be reliable, efficient with excellent time management, good plant knowledge and an ability to identify plant pests and diseases.

The annual salary for this role is 27-30k dependent on experience and qualifications. We offer 28 days' holiday inclusive of bank holidays, uniform, PPE and relevant on-the-job training. You should be prepared for some heavy work (landscaping, clearing, mulching and re-design) in addition to more creative, lightweight projects.

You will be working on/with

? Beds, borders and containers; lawns and landscaping

? Water features, drainage and irrigation systems; maintenance and cleaning

? Machinery (safe operation experience is essential, working at height qualifications are desirable)

? Chemical applications (PA1 & PA6 quals and knowledge of record keeping are desirable)

? Maintenance and cleaning of hard surfaces / furniture

? Honest, with a strong methodical work ethic. Discreet

? Good personal presentation and excellent communication skills

? Cooperative and enthusiastic. High levels of energy and self-motivation

? Happy to take direction, act on and follow instructions.

? Able to work independently and take ownership of work. Attention to detail is important

? A creative streak and eye for aesthetics

? Reliable and able to work under pressure
