Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced groundworker proficient in drainage, kerbing, tarmacking and concrete to join our busy operations.
We are an established construction company based in Jarrow, carrying out ground works, construction and responsive works for local authorities and commercial clients.
Must be a reliable team player, with a high regard for health and safety. A background in groundworks is essential as well as a full UK driving licence.
Plant tickets an advantage however full training will be provided during on boarding period.
Responsibilities
Assist in various groundwork tasks including excavations and drainage installation. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow site plans and specifications accurately during project execution. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in groundwork or construction essential. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. Strong commitment to safety practices on-site. Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: 8 Hour shift Monday - Friday.
Salary: 28,000.00 plus per annum. Negotiable depending on experience.
