We're hiring a Head Chef to lead the next chapter at BANK.
Starting August 2025 | Full Time | 38k+ (incl. Tronc) + Equity Opportunity
BANK is a vibrant neighbourhood restaurant in Bristol, known for its contemporary fire cooking. We're now looking for a talented Head Chef with previous experience cooking over fire, and developing tasting menus -- someone who's ready to lead, create, and build something exceptional with us.
What's on the table:
Creative control of a la carte and tasting menu development
Leadership of a dedicated, passionate kitchen team
Responsibility for cost control and creating a sustainable kitchen
A supportive ownership team and Executive Chef who'll work alongside you to help you thrive
Base salary of 32,000, with Tronc bringing total package to 38k+
Equity in the business -- become a co-owner of BANK
Future investment in your own restaurant ventures (as we've done with Lapin)
Requirements:
Previous Head Chef experience in a high-quality kitchen
Strong background in fire-led cooking techniques
Proven track record of developing and delivering seasonal tasting menus
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Passion for sustainability, creativity, and independent hospitality
Ability to manage kitchen costs and work collaboratively with front-of-house
