Experienced Head Dental Receptionist

to lead our front-of-house team and ensure every patient receives a first-class experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

About the Role

As our Head Dental Receptionist, you will be the face of the practice--overseeing the reception team, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. You'll work closely with clinicians, support our Practice Manager, and maintain a warm, professional, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support, and mentor the reception team Manage appointment bookings, recalls, and patient follow-ups Ensure excellent customer service and patient communication Handle payments, invoicing, and general administration Coordinate with clinicians to optimise daily workflow Maintain accurate patient records and compliance standards Support practice targets through effective diary management

About You

Minimum

2 years' experience

in a dental reception or front-of-house role Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Confident using dental software (e.g., SOE, Dentally) Calm under pressure with a positive, professional attitude Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care

Shift Patterns

Early:

7:45am - 3:00pm

Late:

12:45pm - 8:00pm

Fridays:

7:45am - 3:00pm

Saturdays:

On rota (approx. 1 per month)
