Are you a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering world-class service? We're on the lookout for confident, enthusiastic, and professional hospitality individuals to join our incredible Conference and Events team at one of the UK's most historic and exciting venue.
The KIA Oval isn't just a world-renowned cricket ground - it's a vibrant hub of hospitality, history, and high-profile events. Home to Surrey County Cricket Club, the Oval has hosted everything from international Test matches and T20s to corporate functions, gala dinners, and private celebrations.
Main Responsibilities:
Bartender's - Based in our busy bars, your main task will be to provide excellent customer service to our guests. You will be required to prepare and serve drinks, replenish stocks, and make knowledgeable wine pairing recommendations to guests. This may include written orders, or the use of electronic till and ordering systems.
Waiter's / Waitress's - As the primary port of call for all guests during their meal, this role is to engage with guests to enhance their experience, efficiently and accurately communicating their requests with kitchen and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery. You will take orders, serve food & beverages, and clear tables, whilst smiling and having fun!
Food Runner's - Responsible for quickly and accurately delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring orders are correct and well-presented. You will support both kitchen and serving staff, help maintain a smooth flow of service and may assist with clearing and resetting tables. Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are key to this role.
All successful applicants must be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the roles.
Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence and compassion when interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Excellent time keeping with availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and match days
