Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a part time basis

THIS ROLE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS as it will require weekday shifts AS WELL as weekends on a permanent basis so it is not just a summer role!

Start time will be 9am/10am we are flexible with that so it may suit parents who need to do the school run!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring that our guests enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment. This role is crucial in upholding the highest standards of hygiene and presentation within our establishment.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist in the laundry process by washing, drying, and folding linens as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report shortages to the supervisor. Uphold health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
