experienced Immigration Paralegal
to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to handle complex immigration matters and develop your career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting solicitors with a caseload of immigration matters, including:
Family visas, spouse visas, and visit visas
Skilled Worker and other Points-Based System applications
Settlement (ILR) and British nationality applications
Asylum, human rights, and appeals
Preparing and submitting applications and supporting documentation to the Home Office and relevant tribunals.
Drafting legal correspondence, witness statements, and case bundles.
Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with developments in immigration law and Home Office guidance.
Liaising with clients, the Home Office, tribunals, counsel, and other stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and firm procedures, including anti-money laundering obligations.
Maintaining accurate and well-organised client files, both digitally and in hard copy.
Supporting solicitors in hearings, appeals, and client meetings.
Managing administrative tasks relating to case progression and deadlines.
Requirements:
Minimum
12-18 months of experience
as an immigration paralegal (experience in complex cases desirable).
Strong knowledge of UK immigration law, including family, business, and asylum routes.
Excellent drafting, research, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a busy environment.
Strong client care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
