The Role
This is a
hands-on, in-person position
working from our Colwyn Bay workshop and retail counter.
You'll be responsible for:
Diagnosing and repairing laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, and consoles
Carrying out screen replacements, battery swaps, upgrades, and component-level repairs
Performing software work - OS installs, AV clean-ups, troubleshooting, and backup checks
Booking in and out repairs, processing payments, and assisting customers at the counter
Maintaining detailed job notes and professional communication via our ticketing system
Occasionally assisting with on-site client visits or small deployment projects
This is
not a remote or help-desk position
- it's a practical, workshop-based role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in computer repairs or a similar technical environment
Excellent written English - able to document work clearly and professionally
Confident communication skills for both customer and team interaction
Reliable, organised, and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail
Full UK driving licence preferred for occasional local site work
Soldering or board-level repair skills advantageous
Welsh language skills highly desirable
We welcome applicants with either:
Practical, hands-on experience in IT repair,
or
Relevant academic or industry qualifications (e.g. Level 3 Computing, CompTIA A+)
