Role Purpose:
The ExperiencedJoiner/Builder is a hands-on role in QBuild's site team, delivering one-off, complex bespoke homes and high-end refurbishment projects. It focuses on delivering exceptional craftsmanship from groundworks through to finishing, while supporting site operations and collaborating with other trades and subcontractors.
Working Hours & Benefits:
Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:30 pm (four-day work week, 30 mins unpaid break each day). This role is based on a 40-hour working week.

Key Responsibilities:
Construction & Craftsmanship
Perform hands-on joinery and multi-trade building work on all stages of projects, from excavation to finishing.
Deliver high-quality workmanship, ensuring all site work meets project specifications and schedules.
Contribute to the delivery of complex, bespoke homebuilding projects across varied locations.
Site Operations
Collaborate closely with the Lead Builder and fellow QBuild joiners/builders to achieve programme milestones.
Work alongside specialist installers and subcontractors as required.
Manage site materials and ensure your work van is stocked appropriately.
Communication & Reporting
Provide clear, accurate updates on site progress and subcontractor activities to the Lead Builder and Directors.
Highlight and troubleshoot potential issues proactively.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to QBuild's Health, Safety & Environmental Policy and encourage safe working practices on site.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, secure, and organised site.
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within domestic home construction.
Strong joinery skills, with expertise in first and second fix carpentry.
Broad multi-trade construction knowledge and the ability to integrate key building elements.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Willingness to work away from home Monday-Thursday as required.
Ability to proactively communicate and work collaboratively as part of a site team.
Strong work ethic, adaptability, and motivation to deliver bespoke projects to a high standard.
Desired:
SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
Basic IT proficiency (phone/tablet use for communication and reporting).
Own selection of tools (allowance provided).
