We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all joinery activities and work packages on construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that joinery work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Joinery Site Supervisor or similar role within the last 3 years.
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
SMSTS card holder or relevant site management qualification or certification in joinery or carpentry.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of joinery trades on-site.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate execution.
Plan and organise daily work schedules in collaboration with other site project managers.
Ensure all joinery work adheres to safety standards and company policies.
Monitor progress and quality of work, providing guidance and problem-solving as needed.
Manage and oversee subcontractors and on-site joinery teams and works are carried out to high standard.
Ensure availability of materials and tools required for joinery tasks.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Maintain documentation related to work progress, issues, and safety reports.
Liaise with clients, architects, and other construction professionals.
Safety and Compliance:
Be fully compliant with the Health and Safety requirements on site and for the principal contractor.
Adhere to all P & K Joinery Ltd Health and Safety policies and procedures.
