Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled
Self-Employed Massage Therapist
to join our team at
The Signature Spa
. This is a fantastic opportunity for a therapist who wants to offer high-quality treatments, including remedial and sports-focused work, within a serene and supportive spa setting.
Responsibilities
Deliver a wide range of massage treatments, including:
Swedish/Aromatherapy (pre blended)
Deep Tissue
Sports Massage
Lava Shell
Pregnancy Massage
(Additional therapies are a bonus.)
Provide a warm, personalised, and professional experience for every client, from consultation to aftercare.
Maintain immaculate hygiene and professional standards in the treatment room.
Offer expert treatment recommendations, aftercare, and homecare advice.
Ensure clients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their visit.
Work in alignment with the spa's high standards, values, and client-care expectations.
Manage your own self-employment responsibilities, diary, and treatment timings.
Collaborate positively with the spa team to maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, Sports Massage Therapist, or Holistic Therapist.
Recognised qualifications in massage (Level 3 or above).
Sports Massage qualification(Level 3/4) or relevant training preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, remedial techniques, and client assessment.
Professional self-employment insurance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Warm, reliable, and client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently while fitting well within a professional spa environment.
Professional presentation and attitude.
Fluent in English.
