Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of plant operations, including meat processing, quality control, and safety compliance
Lead and motivate a team of skilled butchers and staff
Implement efficient workflows and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
Collaborate with suppliers and clients to meet quality and delivery expectations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Proven experience in meat butchery and meat processing at a supervisory or managerial level
Extensive knowledge of meat cutting, grading, and processing techniques
Strong leadership and team management skills
Thorough understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, SALSA)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Relevant qualifications in meat science, food technology, or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds meat cutting certifications, NVQ Level 3 in Meat Processing)
