Green Tree Children's Home in Erith, Kent, is seeking a dedicated and confident

Registered Manager

to lead our newly opened, 4-bed Ofsted-registered home. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people aged 8 to 18 who have experienced trauma, neglect, or disrupted care.

As a sister company to a well-established semi-independent provider, Green Tree represents the first step in an exciting new residential childcare venture. About the Role

As

Registered Manager

, you'll lead with clarity, compassion, and purpose. You will be responsible for the operational and strategic leadership of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing daily operations in line with Ofsted regulations and best practice Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing and motivated care team Creating and regularly reviewing individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs Embedding a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach across all aspects of the home Building strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies Driving continuous improvement and achieving excellence in inspections

About You

We're looking for an experienced and resilient leader with a passion for child-centred care. The ideal candidate will bring:

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or a willingness to work towards this qualification) Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in an Ofsted-regulated children's home A proven track record of delivering high-quality care and successful inspection outcomes Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience in trauma-informed practice Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a values-led leadership style A deep commitment to supporting children in building stable, meaningful futures
