Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and a strong attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired shades Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with specifications Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Follow safety procedures and regulations while on-site Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction painting is preferred Ability to drive and transport materials as needed Proficient in English with excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
