Job Overview

We are a well established Joinery company based in Bideford who have been trading for over 50 years and are looking for an experienced Painter/Sprayer to join our team.

Primarily working on doors, window's and staircases as well as some bespoke furniture as well as trims and mouldings. Experience in internal and external painting and staining is required.

We have our own in house spray shop so adequate spray experience is desired but not essential as training can be given.

We are looking for someone to work 40 hours a week Monday to Friday (Lunch time finish on a Friday) with salary depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, and sanding. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting internal and external Joinery or a related field. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to various job sites.
