Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable experienced Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and demonstrate exceptional analytical and communication skills. This role is crucial in providing legal advice, representing clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities



Provide expert legal advice to clients on a variety of matters, ensuring clarity and understanding.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.

Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law to support client cases.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for complex legal issues.

Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact clients or the firm.

Organise and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.


Attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and providing administrative support as needed.

Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.

Communicating with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters to gather information, schedule meetings, and provide updates on case progress under the supervision of you Principal Solicitor.
Assist in gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and conducting background checks as part of case preparation.

Assist the Solicitors in preparing for hearings by organising exhibits, preparing witness lists, booking barristers and coordinating logistics.

Review and analyse legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements.

Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence to support the smooth functioning of the firm.

Daily reporting to the Senior Caseworkers with the status of ongoing casework.

Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of client and firm matters.

Participate in regular training sessions and workshops organised by the company.

Conduct research on legal precedents, statutes, regulations, and case law to support your supervising Solicitor in building cases and preparing for hearings.

Experience



A Senior Paralegal having experience for 2-3 years . Previous experience in a similar role is required. Newly qualified solicitors are also encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of relevant areas of law such as immigration law. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 26,156.83-35,000.00 per year
