Experienced Part Time Bookkeeper Required Flexible Working Hours
Job Description
Experienced bookkeeper required to work in a small business with a turnover of 500-750k. We trade internationally so you must have a good understanding of (or be prepared to learn about) international trade practices and online marketplaces, and have experience of Intrastat and non-EU exports.
You must be experienced and competent in using Sage, using purchase orders and nominal ledgers etc as well as the usual accounting practices. You must be confident in working with large CSV files and prepared to learn and adopt new accounting practices as the online marketplaces and tax rules governing them are changing constantly.
You must have good communication skills and be able to understand and follow instruction, and work with external bodies to keep the us compliant with regulatory requirements.
Working hours are flexible to suit and we anticipate the job will require 1 day of work per week, however more work will be required initially to catch up on outstanding work.
