Job Description

Due to continued company expansion we have a vacancy for an experienced Powder Coater to join our team. 2 years recent experience (min) of powder coating is required. Our main plant comprises of a heavy duty tracking system with a large 10m box oven specialising in large fabrications. We also have an online conveyorized plant for smaller items.

The scope of works is varied but mainly concentrates on the preparation and powder coating of fabricated products. Reporting to the General Manager the main duties and responsibilities include the following:

Pre-treatment / prep - sanding, degrease etc Powder coating to a high standard Hanging parts Wrapping and packing Quality inspections

Essential Requirements

2 years experience of powder coating is a must

Hard working and willing to learn Flexible working hours (to suit customer needs) - overtime when required

Desirable

Fork lift truck licence (training can be provided)
You will also be required to adhere to the companies Health and Safety policy and quality management system.

Due to recent expansion and investment, Vibrant Coatings Ltd was formed by Yaplex to provide shot blasting and powder coating services to the parent company and offer sub-contract services to the local area.

Further Information

40 hours per week (plus regular / additional overtime as and when required). Overtime paid at premium rates. Current working hours are 6.00am - 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 6.30 - 15.00 on Friday. All hours over 40 are paid at time and a third during the week, and time and a half at weekend. Working hours can however be flexible.

3% company contributory pension
