skilled and experienced Pastry Chef

to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have

at least 5 years of experience

in

high-volume pastry or dessert manufacturing

, with a strong understanding of production efficiency, quality control, and professional kitchen standards.

Job Overview:


The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a wide range of patisserie, desserts, and baked goods to precise specifications. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and creativity. The role also demands consistency, teamwork, and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:



Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes and quality standards. Manage high-volume daily production while maintaining accuracy and presentation quality. Support new product development and contribute creative ideas for menu improvements. Collaborate with kitchen and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders. Maintain organised, clean work areas and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Monitor ingredient and packaging stock levels, reporting shortages and ensuring efficient use of materials. Train and guide junior staff on pastry techniques, production methods, and safety practices. Follow HACCP, SALSA, and all relevant food safety standards at all times.

Requirements:



Minimum

5 years' experience

in a

high-volume pastry, bakery, or dessert manufacturing environment

. Strong technical knowledge of pastry production, baking methods, and finishing techniques. Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-output kitchen. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in professional kitchens. Organised, dependable, and flexible to meet production demands. Passion for creating consistent, high-quality desserts and patisserie products. Right to work in UK full NI and bank details
