Role Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Residential Childcare Worker to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

Supporting and supervising children and young people in daily activities Creating a safe and nurturing environment Building positive and supportive relationships with the young people Implementing care plans and individual support strategies Participating in recreational activities and outings Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals Recording and reporting the children's progress and welfare

Qualifications

Previous experience within residential childrens home Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
