We are a dynamic and inclusive gymnastics academy offering a wide range of disciplines to support athletes of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to create a safe, inspiring environment where children and young people can develop skill, confidence, and creativity. As part of our growth, we are expanding into Rhythmic Gymnastics nn , combining artistry, performance, and technical excellence.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach to lead and develop our rhythmic gymnastics programme. The successful candidate will have experience teaching apparatus work (ribbon, hoop, ball, clubs, rope), choreography, and flexibility, with a focus on both recreational and competitive pathways.
You will inspire athletes to explore the artistry of rhythmic gymnastics while building strong technical foundations and performance skills.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging rhythmic gymnastics sessions for different ages and ability levels.
Teach apparatus handling (hoop, ball, ribbon, clubs, rope) alongside choreography, dance elements, and flexibility.
Develop safe and progressive training plans that support both recreational and competitive athletes.
Prepare gymnasts for performances, competitions, and showcases.
Foster creativity, artistry, and expression within routines.
Ensure athlete safety, safeguarding, and wellbeing at all times.
Collaborate with other coaches to integrate rhythmic gymnastics into the wider academy programme.
Essential
Coaching qualification in Rhythmic Gymnastics (UKCC Level 2 or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of rhythmic gymnastics technique, apparatus work, and choreography.
Experience coaching children and young people in a gymnastics, dance, or performance setting.
Excellent communication, motivational, and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive coaching practices.
Desirable
Experience coaching competitive rhythmic gymnasts at regional/national level.
First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.
Dance, ballet, or choreography background.
Experience in creating and judging routines for competition.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 11.00-25.00 per hour
