Role

As we continue to grow , B-Spoke Roofing , part of The B-Spoke Group is seeking a skilled , self motivated , enthusiastic , experienced and dedicated Roofer to carry out work in the Scottish Central Belt Area

This role is permanent position with a starting salary of 18.00 per hour rising to 21.00 after a 3 month probation period and key competencies of the role are met .

A work vehicle is also provide along with a fuel card and holiday entitlement of 28 days

As we continue to expand to meet demand there are further opportunities for career progression

Criteria for Role

To be successful in this role you will be required to have a minimum of 5 years roofing experience and/or a relevant roofing qualification as well as a Full UK Driving License

Essential Skills / Experience in the following :

Stripping and replacing roof tiles / concrete tiles Installing roof membranes installing battens , flashings and ridge tiles / kits Minor timber and PVC repairs and installations of works related to roof line eg gutters , fascia , soffit and downpipes Lead work for chimney flashings etc. Installation and re-flashing of Velux style windows Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, wooden boards , and other roofing components Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain a clean and organised worksite to promote safety and efficiency Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively Strong understanding of safety procedures at height work environments Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to work in demanding outdoor conditions for extended periods

The role of the roofer is pivotal role in the business , responsible for undertaking re-roofing of various types and size of properties to ensure our roofs are installed to the highest possible standards.
