We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced self-employed Dog Handlers to join our West Midlands operations. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality guarding and exceptional customer service to both visitors and clients during the night shift. The role includes regular patrols with a security dog to ensure site security and safety.

Hours:

12 Hours

Shift Pattern:

Day Shift: 6am-6pm

Night Shift: 6pm-6am

Roles with various hours/shift patterns avaialble.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular patrols with the security dog at designated intervals.

- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and clients.

- Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents.- Maintain detailed records of patrols and incidents.

- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

- Valid SIA licence is required.

- Trained and recognised security dog breed.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dog handler in a security role.

- Strong background in security and customer service.

- Must own a suitable vehicle in accordance with British Standard 8517.

- Current L2 handler qualification, including Team certificate.

- PPE

(Operatives are required to provide their own steel toe boots)

Person Specification:

- Must be reliable and trustworthy.

- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

- Good timekeeping is essential.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to follow instructions and work calmly under pressure.
