We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Beauty Therapist for our friendly Prestbury salon, to build, develop and lead our lovely team, all of whom have a cheerful and positive attitude but less experience than you. The position can be full or part time, with a bonus scheme / profit share which should double your salary as your regular clients build up. Share ownership a possibility for the right person.
The ideal candidate will have a recent background in beauty and aesthetic treatments, excellent people skills, and a commitment to ensuring all the team provide a high standard of care to all clients. As Senior Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of beauty services while ensuring all staff provide an outstanding experience for every client who visits us. Our clients have to receive quality treatments and also enjoy visiting us. A happy atmosphere at work is essential for all.
Responsibilities
Perform various beauty treatments including facials such as Hydro facials, RF Needling, Laser hair removal. (Training /refreshers can be arranged if necessary)
Lead the team by example, ensuring a cooperative mood and high standards all round.
Provide personalised consultations to clients, assessing their needs and recommending appropriate treatments and products, and ensure your team do the same.
Maintain a clean and organised salon, including treatment areas, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff and clients and a calm and gentle environment which is a pleasure to be part of.
Training and mentoring of junior therapists, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance.
Handle client bookings and manage all staff appointment schedules efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist with a comprehensive understanding of beauty and aesthetics treatments and of how an up market salon should run
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate calmly, effectively and professionally in English with both clients and staff.
An NVQ level 4 or above in Beauty Therapy or equivalent, plus at least 2 years experience in a busy beauty and aesthetics salon.
A passion for the beauty industry, for making people feel good about themselves, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour
