As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in customer service, helping with deliveries and orders, and ensuring that our store remains organised and welcoming.

Responsibilities

Warmly assist customers in finding products that meet their needs. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging displays. Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while providing outstanding customer service. Assist with deliveries, including heavy lifting. Completing orders and restocking.

Qualifications

Previous hardware and DIY experience is needed. Strong communication skills in English Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and be able to arrive on time. Organisational skills to maintain a tidy and well-presented store environment. A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage customers effectively and build rapport.
