Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Support clients with dementia care and hospice care needs, demonstrating patience and understanding.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
6 months UK care experience
Great communication skills
Previous experience in nursing homes or home care settings is an advantage.
Competence in medication administration procedures is essential.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
