The Role

We are looking for an

experienced Technical Manager

to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is central to ensuring all technical, quality, and compliance standards are maintained across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food safety, quality, and technical compliance within the business Manage Micron 2 / BRC, HACCP, and customer audit requirements, ensuring all standards are consistently met Maintain a strong food safety culture Ensure compliance with food legislation and customer requirements Work closely with production to drive continuous improvement in quality and processes Investigate and resolve technical or quality issues, implementing preventative measures Liaise with suppliers, customers, and external auditors when required

Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Manager (preferably within food manufacturing) Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and Micron 2 / BRC requirements Experience working with chilled or ready-to-eat food production (highly desirable) Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to manage audits and compliance confidently
