Tyre Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with all vehicles. As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good customer skills essential.

Duties

Perform tyre installations and removals on a variety of vehicles, ensuring proper alignment and balance. Conduct inspections of tyres for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tyre-related tasks. Assist with heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required, maintaining safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tyre maintenance.

Experience

Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive role is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems related to tyre performance. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in tyre servicing. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily duties. A proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques related to tyre maintenance.
