Experienced Veterinary Care Assistant

Job Description
I am looking for a compassionate and dedicated VCA to join a friendly and supportive team in a well-established independent veterinary practice.
As a VCA, you'll be an essential part of the practice, involved in a variety of tasks including:
Assisting vets and nurses during consultations and procedures
Monitoring inpatients and ensuring they are comfortable and well cared for
Preparing theatre and equipment for surgery
Helping with general cleaning and maintenance of clinical areas
Supporting on reception when needed - greeting clients, handling calls, and booking appointments
| WORKING HOURS |
40 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) Open to a 4-day week with 10-hour shifts for the right candidate 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (3 hour shifts)

Previous experience as a VCA or in a veterinary setting is preferred Passionate about animal welfare and client care Confident communicator and team player Comfortable working in both clinical and reception environments
