Use structural analysis and CAD tools to architect new modules and assess their expected performance and limitations

Identify and implement critical metrics and specifications to deliver performance that matters to product specifications, and associated characterization techniques

Influence product-level decisions using tools and methods such as simulation, prototyping, and lab characterization

Build custom unit tests, metrology hardware, and perform hands-on measurements in the lab

Work with suppliers to develop actuation modules, bring up test platforms, and perform statistical analysis of data to determine performance and quality

Visit suppliers to support engineering builds and help with failure analysis activities

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master or higher degree (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent, with extensive years of working experience, or PhD in a relevant field with proven years of working experience

Willingness to pick up novel tasks and acquire new skills is desirable
