Job Description

We're on the lookout for talented individuals who would embrace the challenge in working at our New Firepit in Halifax. Serving a plethora of food and beverages, here at The Firepit we like to ensure we go above and beyond when it comes to service. Be this explaining the 350 degree "steak on the stone" or simply recommending a wine paring we pride ourselves in exceeding customers expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Provide detailed information when asked about the menus,

- Prepare tables,

- Offer menu recommendations upon request,

- Check customer IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for the consumption of alcoholic beverages,

- Collect bill payments,

- Follow all relevant health department regulations,

- Partake in any training the business requires you to do.

Requirements:

- Proven 1 year + experience within the industry.

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast pace environment,

- Effective communications skills.
