Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in customer service, food safety, and culinary operations.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any needs Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables and stations Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required Handle payments accurately and provide correct change or receipts Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies Basic maths skills for handling payments and billing procedures Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to ensure positive guest interactions
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.55-14.90 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
