Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part Time Front of House Staff to join our small and vibrant team at Assaggini -small Italian plates restaurant in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality, bartending, catering, or restaurant services and must have a guest facing experience. This position involves customer interaction and ensuring a seamless experience when dining for our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized front end area
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor and manage inventory levels at the front end
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, catering, or restaurant industry is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Knowledge of Italian food preparation techniques is a plus

-Very good command of English

The rates are to illustrate potential earnings for 21 and over. The rates for under 21 will vary.

Please note that the advertised pay rates include projected share of service charge -Tronc.

This is a permanent role and would require full availability to work weekends in July and August, so please don't apply if you are unavailable during these months.
