Role Overview



The Expert Chase Team Leader plays a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality, consistent service to our customers by leading and developing a high-performing team. Working closely with our panel of medical experts, this role ensures that cases which fall outside expected service levels are effectively managed and resolved.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys motivating people, driving performance, and building strong relationships. You will be responsible for setting clear expectations, managing KPIs, and creating a positive, supportive environment where individuals and the wider team can thrive.

Key Responsibilities



Lead, motivate, and support the Expert Chase Team, ensuring performance targets and KPIs are consistently achieved Create a positive, high-performing team culture where accountability, collaboration, and development are encouraged Oversee the management of cases that fall outside service level expectations, ensuring they are prioritised and resolved efficiently Build and maintain strong working relationships with medical experts to support service delivery and improve performance Monitor individual and team performance, using data and insight to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, one-to-ones, and performance conversations Identify experts who are consistently underperforming and work with the team to implement improvement plans and resolutions Ensure workloads are balanced and priorities are clear across the team Produce and present regular performance updates, KPIs, and insights to senior stakeholders Ensure compliance with company processes, policies, and quality standards Act as a point of escalation for complex cases and service issues

Proven experience leading or supervising a team in a service-led or performance-driven environment Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal A results-focused mindset with experience managing KPIs and service metrics Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands Confidence using data to understand performance and drive improvement A calm, solution-focused approach when working under pressure A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to teamwork
