Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure a smooth dining experience, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where excellent communication and organisational skills are valued. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of dining areas throughout service Handle guest queries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times Manage multiple tables effectively through strong time management skills Process payments accurately using the POS system

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills effectively Experience in guest services, upselling, and team collaboration will be considered advantageous
