We're looking for a
Sales Engineer
to join our expanding team and help us deliver tailored compressed air and vacuum solutions to clients across various industries.

What you'll be doing
This Hybrid role (3 days field-based; 2 days in office) offers the chance to
own and grow your territory
, build relationships, and offer solutions that make a real difference. You will:
? Identify and develop new business opportunities
? Build and grow relationships with existing customers
? Conduct site visits and technical assessments to understand client needs
? Prepare and deliver quotations and tailored proposals
? Negotiate pricing and terms in line with company procedures
? Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
? Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
? Maintain detailed records in the CRM system, including quotes, follow-ups, forecasts, and reports
? Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and new technologies
What we're looking for
? At least 2 years' external sales experience in a technical and engineering environment
? Proven track record in managing client relationships and driving revenue
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
? Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and site layouts preferred
? Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline
? High attention to detail and a drive to learn and develop
? Full UK driving licence (clean)
Experience in compressed air, vacuum systems, pneumatics, or industrial equipment is preferred but not essential. A background in engineering, mechanical, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.

Based in Hertford, primarily covering a territory within a
20-mile radius
Salary:
35,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience) + uncapped commission
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
