As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who will share our passion and contribute positively to the ongoing success of the company.

Job Summary

As an important member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Safe & efficient operation of the extrusion line in line with company procedures and product requirements. Loading the Extrusion Machine and removal of the finished product Set & adjust machine controls including start up and shut down processes Identify & record non-conformance, defects & production failures Basic machine maintenance and cleaning Extruder run time Material produced per shift reporting Completion of check forms & defect reporting

Proven extrusion experience (D) Good level of written & spoken English language (E) Evidence of mechanical aptitude (D) Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work environment (E) High degree of health & safety awareness (E) Positive attitude (E) Ability to work on your own initiative whilst working with other team members and departments to optimise production efficiency and quality (E)
