Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Extrusion Operator/Setter to join our factory based in Droitwich.

We are a manufacturer of plastic products for the Building Industry and construction industry to name a few.

As Plastic Extrusion Operative, your duties will include:

Setting up, adjusting and maintaining extrusion line Previous experience operating similar machinery in the plastics or packaging industry Basic machine maintenance Maintaining a clean and tidy working area Other duties may be assigned. Setting moulding machines as per the setting sheet. Carrying out tool changes. Adjusting machine parameters as necessary to maintain production. Ensure efficient running of equipment. Completion of quality checks in accordance with company procedures. Working as part of a team to ensure production requirements are met within the department on time.
The right candidate must -

Be capable of setting machines, carrying out tool changes, identifying and trouble-shooting moulding issues, and have a good knowledge of polymers Be self-motivated and work using own initiative. Punctual and reliable
Experience is essential but full training will be provided.

48 hours per week over 4 days (Day shift 7 am-7 pm- Night shift 7 pm-7 am) The opportunity to do overtime is also available.

Must have own driving license or able to commute to and from work.
