Extrusion Assistant
to support our plastic extrusion operations.

Job Summary:
The Extrusion Helper plays a vital role in our plastic production line by assisting operators with machine setup, material handling, quality checks, and ensuring smooth production flow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow within the plastics manufacturing field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist extrusion machine operators in setting up and running extrusion machinery.
Loading of polymers and additives into hoppers to ensure consistent material feed.
Monitor the extrusion line for jams, blockages, or inconsistencies in plastic flow.
Perform basic quality inspections on extruded plastic products (e.g., dimensions, surface finish).
Collect, stack, and label finished products for packaging and shipping.
Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions.
Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
Shift Patterns:
This role follows a continental shift pattern, based on a recurring two-week rota.
Shifts are either 06:00-18:00 (day shift) or 18:00-06:00 (night shift).
Days of work over the two-week rota are as follows:
Week 1:
Monday, Thursday, and Friday
Week 2:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
Requirements
Experience in a production/factory environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
Ability to work the continental shift pattern described above.
