The Federation of Snape Community & Thornton Watlass CE Primary Schools is seeking to appoint an experienced and outstanding EYFS/Key Stage 1 teacher to work in our small, rural school.


The post offers an exciting opportunity not only to work as part of a federation but also in a new collaboration with another small school. We seek to provide a secure, happy caring and supportive environment reflecting the school's Christian foundation, in which all pupils are valued equally and are given opportunities to develop their full potential.


The successful candidate must have experience of teaching EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2. They should also have some experience of leadership, ideally in EYFS. They will be required to teach a mixed class of Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children, leading a team of support staff and the day to day leadership of the Snape site.


As a small school, there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to undertake the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead, DSL (training will be provided). There will be a requirement to lead other subject areas.
