We are looking for an expeirenced EYFS Leader to cover for PPA and lead classes in a specilist school.

The role is to work in a specialist school in Leeds, covering 4 classes while teachers take time for PPA, The role is to work with young people with complex needs. The class sizes are small nurture groups with a curriculum tailored towards their learning levels.

The school is a nurturing focused school with a passion for supporting young people with SEND on the educational journey. The school offers a holistic approach to education.

The role

Working in 4 classes with pupils with complex learning needs. Delivering tailored lessons to the individual pupil needs. Working with a team of 5 TAs in each class. Adapting a creative approach to engage learners. Making the learning environment a safe and nurturing environment to promote learning and development. Working on communication and using alternative communication techniques such as Makaton and PECs
The ideal Teacher

WIll have previous experience of working with SEND pupils. Have a dynamic and creative approach. An understanding of Autism. Experience of using alternative communication techniques. QTS qualified or equivalent.

If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
