About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team at Atlas Workplace Services, working on-site at a world-renowned university in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a prestigious environment, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the fabric of historic and modern buildings alike.





You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring the university's facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming.



Key Responsibilities


Carry out general fabric maintenance including: + Carpentry
+ Electrical maintenance
+ Painting & decorating
+ Plumbing maintenance
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies Deliver excellent service in a customer-facing environment ###

About You

Minimum Qualifications & Training


NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade Recognised qualification in fabric engineering Fully time-served apprenticeship (desirable)

Essential Skills & Experience


At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a large or complex site 1 year in a customer-facing outsourcing environment Background in property maintenance or facilities management Familiarity with CAFM systems (e.g., MAXIMO) and Android tablets Strong, demonstrable skills across building services trades Good understanding of modern office software
