Hours:

42.5 hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:00-17:00

About The Role




We're looking for a Fabrication Administrator to join our manufacturing team. In this key administrative role, you'll work closely with the production office and the production manager to ensure our fabrication processes run smoothly.


You'll be a vital link in delivering exceptional service to our customers, handling everything from initial order details to final delivery. We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and excellent at communicating across departments.

Key Responsibilities:





Production Paperwork: Raise and complete accurate production paperwork for all stages of fabrication. Material Management: Create cost-effective cut lists and monitor stock levels to ensure all production needs are met. You'll also identify and flag any non-stock materials that need to be ordered. Order Processing: Prepare and assemble complete job packs for custom orders, including production orders, drawings, and sales orders. You will coordinate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies. System & Data Management: Use our SAP system to create SKUs and BOMs for new products, scan documents, and book in steel coils. You'll also monitor our fabrication trackers to keep all department data accurate and up-to-date. Communication & Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for customer calls, effectively communicating any delays and the actions being taken. You'll also build strong relationships with other departments to ensure smooth arrangements for orders, deliveries, and collections. Supplier Relations: Raise and monitor purchase orders for suppliers, including following up on delivery dates as needed. Logistics: Manage and communicate stock transfers between depots and monitor our proof of delivery system.
