Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 40 hours, additional hours as may be required

The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Fabrication Inspector with experience in a similar role working with mild steel and stainless steel fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
100% inspection of all standard and bespoke shelter product
Visual inspection, patrol inspection and first-off inspection
Carry out dimensional measurements against engineering drawings
Record measurements taken (internal part approval pack)
Where possible, carry out engineering reviews of in-house bespoke shelter projects to identify any potential issues/special requirements before jobs are issued to Production
Capturing quality issues at source to minimise impact to the business.
Support/assist fabricators with any queries or issues relating to fabrication of Broxap products (e.g. drawings, BOM issues, fabrication processes)
Experience and Required Skills:
A good understanding of mild steel and stainless steel fabrication processes and techniques (essential)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (essential)
Ability to communicate in a clear and factual manner (essential)
Weld inspection, including dye penetration testing (desirable)
