Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Workshop Supervisor to oversee our operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a hands-on approach to assisting the team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

Ensure workshop are working effectively and to deadlines keeping up to date communication with the workshop Manager. Communicate with the workshop manager to ensure forward planning and the status of current works is clear. Follow the goods in procedures. Any defects / Late deliveries are reported to the workshop manager. Assist with Stock audits when requested. Report hazards and assist with any workshop risk assessments. Ensure all staff carry out Asset inspections when requested and following procedures. General house keeping duties alongside all other staff. Quality check all finished works from the workshop before it is despatched to customers. Report Any accidents or Near Misses to the relevant personnel. Motivate and oversea production within the workshop. Ensuring all staff are clear on expectations, and your support will be on hand if required. Assist Workshop manager in staff reviews, noting any potential further training that maybe required. Attending customers sites, discussing and understanding what customers require, taking measurements & details. Completing drawings and providing those drawings to management. Fabrication of variable works in all metals in light and medium duty.

Experience

Qualified Fabricator and vast experience within all metals Proven experience in a similar role within a workshop or manufacturing setting is essential. Strong Fabrication knowledge with the ability to attend sites and produce drawings to manufacture. Experience in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills with clients and team members alike.

Pay: 36,500.00-41,126.00 per year
